Help for first time cruiser

Can anyone help me. We are going our our first cruise July 10th 2008 and need some answers. We'll be flying in from Montreal to NY. We are arriving the same day of the cruise very early in the morning (if on time)

1) Which airport would be best to land (JFK-LGA-EWR)?

2) How much will a taxi cost us?

3) Are we better off to take the transfer from the cruiseline? (we are not booking our airfare with the cruiseline)

Thank you for all your help:confused:

JFK or LGA would be the easiest. A taxi would be cheaper than the tranfers, although I can't give you an exact cost, probably around $40. July 10th is a Thursday so it might actually be cheapest if you use a car service since depending on the time you arrive, you might hit rush hour traffic.
