Waitlist on Carib Princess

Has anyone ever been on a waitlist and been lucky enough to get on the ship? We're hoping to get a 4 day cruise on the Carib and combine it with a 3 day but are on a waitlist for the 4day. We decided at the last minute to look for a cruise but it seems that most of the ships are in Alaska.

How far off are these cruises? If you're already past the final payment date, and if you're more than 3 or 4 on the wait list, then your chances are pretty slim.

I don't think it will happen. We are on the 4 day April27, and up till the end of last week Princess was trying to get some of us to move to another cruise date, sorry to say everyone on our roll call except one couple did not take the move over date, even though the perks were terrific. Good luck with another date but I doubt it. I know the May 11th, is full also. Good luck.
