The sea of loungers at HMC ...

Maybe I'm just delusional, but it seemed that when we were on the Amsterdam in December and called on HMC there were many more lounge chairs on the beach than I remember from past stops there. I wonder if it's a function of Carnival and their mega ships calling on the island or, perhaps, meant to accommodate two HAL Vistas on the same day. Or maybe two Carnival ships simultaneously. Looked, yes, like a sea of lounge chairs in the sand.

You are correct. When I was last there, I think in 2005, there were very very few lounge chairs. It was a pain. When I saw them on my cruise on the Maasdam this month I was thrilled! The new tendors are awesome too!
