BUND Posted April 25, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted April 25, 2008 There has got to be a secret door and/or a topless pool...set up and post the results folks! Thanks in advance.
DarthGrady Posted April 25, 2008 #5 Share Posted April 25, 2008 That link I posted gives you info. on the only known "secret door" on that class of ship. Just scroll down to "Spirit Class". No topless pools on any Carnival ship, unless you book a nudist cruise, they are available! ;)
PINEVIEW01 Posted April 25, 2008 #6 Share Posted April 25, 2008 cool link! There was some topless on the Triumph, deck 12 mid ship.;)
NCTribeFan Posted April 25, 2008 #7 Share Posted April 25, 2008 I specifically wrote to Carnival several months ago and was told there are no longer any adults-only (topless) areas on ANY Carnival ships. But that's been discussed several times since then and has it's own thread going on now. I looked on Miracle and could find no secret door. When I was on Fantasy-class ships, I wasn't aware of them. Really wish I'd know about them because one of our favorite spots on Empress was the forward decks. Only a couple of loungers out there and totally deserted. Absolutely the best place to get away from the noise at the pool areas. Some of us can't afford to sail in balcony cabins all the time and still really like to have somewhere quite to sunbathe, read and relax. I plan on checking out the area(s) on Glory in a few weeks! :D
DarthGrady Posted April 26, 2008 #8 Share Posted April 26, 2008 I plan on checking out the area(s) on Glory in a few weeks! :D When I was on Glory they had the higher two front observation decks (at the front of Lido and Panorama decks) locked for most of the cruise, no reason was ever given. I figured at first that it was due to us being at sea and the wind was too bad, but they were even locked on port days. The two lower observation decks at the front of Empress and Upper decks were always open though. I did finally get to go out on the obervation deck on Lido when we were in St. Maarten. It was a really cool area, I wish it would have been open more often. Heres a pic I took from there, wish I could have been up there while we were underway, it was really high! From the Freedom underway, weird thing almost the same shot as yours. Same spot looking down
DarthGrady Posted April 26, 2008 #10 Share Posted April 26, 2008 Thats cool! I hope they are still leaving them open on seas days when I go on Freedom. The bridge wings are the best place to watch the ocean. I like being able to see down the side of the ship to the ocean.
NCTribeFan Posted April 26, 2008 #11 Share Posted April 26, 2008 Please tell me there are loungers out there! Please?!?
DarthGrady Posted April 26, 2008 #12 Share Posted April 26, 2008 Please tell me there are loungers out there! Please?!? I cant speak for Freedom, but there were no loungers on the front observation decks of Glory. Just a couple of wooden benches with the ships name engraved onto them. chandom Posted April 26, 2008 #13 Share Posted April 26, 2008 Please tell me there are loungers out there! Please?!? Nothing, I am sure any object not tied down would get blown away.
