Beach710 Posted October 4, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 4, 2004 I searched for information on the local bus system but it seemed there were more questions than answers. Snoopy leogirl do you have information on where we can find bus routes? Anyone else? Many people say just jump on and jump off but I would hate to get on a bus not knowing where it is going. Taxi rates are high for two people. I would like to visit Orient Beach and maybe Marigot. Anyone know any other web sites that might have local bus route information? TIA. gtaylor Posted October 6, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 6, 2004 You won't have any problem finding the busses. They each have a sign in the front window with their destination. Marigot will be no problem, but to get to Orient you'll have to hike a flat 1.2 kilometers from where they would let you out. We just measured the distance yesterday. Beach710 Posted October 6, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted October 6, 2004 Thanks for the information. Do you know anything about local buses at the any of these other ports: St. Lucia, Antigua, Barbados? Thanks again.
gtaylor Posted October 6, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 6, 2004 Sorry, but no. We've been to those islands, but don't have any information about their bus systems.
