Oceanview rooms on Carnival Legend

OK, forgive me if this has already been asked (or if it's a super dumb question) but I'm just curious. Does the oceanview room's (not balcony) window open? I've never cruised before, I'm just curious :)

If you book a 5A on the Legend you will have a french door stateroom. The French doors open to a wonderful and gloriously view of......a lifeboat! But it is fresh air. I'd almost say it's better than a 6A on the Legend as long as view isn't a consideration. I just had 4144 on the Legend and absolutely loved the room, very quiet and just a floor up from all the action on floor 3.
