dianajh73 Posted April 28, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2008 We are going to Alaska on Rhapsody on June and I am looking for the best place to go for great views without the crowds. On some ships there is a door to a forward deck with a great view. Any ideas on where to hang out to see the glaciers etc....?? Thanks DJ
vickiw0318 Posted April 28, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 28, 2008 No secret door, but there is what they call an observatory far forward on Deck 10. This is an open air area over the Windjammer. Lots of chairs. It wasn't very crowded on the Western Caribbean runs, but it could be a popular area in Alaska.

yogimax Posted April 28, 2008 #4 Share Posted April 28, 2008 Be careful trying to open "secret doors!" It might be the captain's quarters!
wrp96 Posted April 29, 2008 #5 Share Posted April 29, 2008 Just a note, Rhapsody goes to Tracy Arm for it's glacier viewing. But due to where the Sawyers are in Tracy Arm, it is possible that Rhapsody won't be able to get close enough to see them, especially in June. brn2crz Posted April 29, 2008 #6 Share Posted April 29, 2008 Depending on which side you need to be on... The Library has a balcony that very few know about/use....
