Veendam Stateroom Doors?

I am thinking about decorating my stateroom door, we will have 7-8 staterooms in our party and I would like to suprise everyone!

 

My question is are the doors metal or wood?

If they are metal I would really like to use some magnetic signs.

 

Does HAL even allow them?

 

Also any ideas would be appreciated!! :)

yes, you can decorate your doors. The doors are a composite and magnets will not stick to the main part of the door--only around the frame. I have an 8 1/2" by 11" sign that goes with us that is magnetic--I bought some of the yellow poster putty at Staples and use that on the back of the sign--it stays up for the entire cruise and come off without leaving a mark.
