sdfamily Posted May 1, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 1, 2008 Most of our party will be taking the train from Skagway to Fraser. I will be picking up rental car and driving to Fraser to meet them. Our 18 month old is going to ride with me. Do I need anything special at the border in addition to his passport? His dad will be on the train. I looked at some customs website and did not find any information. Should I just come prepared with a notarized letter like in the US? Thanks in advance! Yukon Posted May 1, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 1, 2008 If his Dad isn't with you/him, definitely have a notarized letter to avoid any possible problems. Fraser is usually a very easy crossing, but we occasionally get new Customs people from down south who are really impressed with the power they have to ruin your day. sdfamily Posted May 1, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted May 1, 2008 Thanks. I don't know what website I was on, but it was not that detailed. One more thing to add to the to do list!
