Kiteboarding from Samana?

I'm going to the DR as a stop on an NCL cruise in Oct/November. The ship docks in Samana. I'd really love to try kiteboarding and be able to relax on a beautiful beach.

 

Does anyone know any reputable companies that arrange excursions from the cruise ships to kiteboard?

 

How are the beaches in Cabarete, where it seems most of the kiteboarding takes place? Clean/pretty/food?

 

A friend of mine is from the DR and tells me that the beach called Las Palmeras is beautiful. Anyone know of this? I can't seem to find it on the forums.
