Request for transfer tips: Nice Airport to Monte Carlo, Civitavecchia to Rome Airport

My husband and I are hoping to learn of reliable and reasonably priced car service to go from Nice Airport to Monte Carlo (ship leaves from Monte Carlo on July 27) and from Civitavecchia to Rome Airport at the end of the cruise. We'd be happy to share a mini-van from Civitavecchia to Rome Airport if another couple would be leaving around 7 a.m. on Aug. 3. If we didn't have luggage, we'd be happy to take trains, but it would be hard to walk very far with our luggage from airport or ship port to train stations.

 

Our travel agent must get a big commission from making cruise passengers book with Windstar for flight/transfer package, but the rate quoted was very high. She claims that local companies cannot be trusted to show up. We' re hoping for recommendations from saavy past visitors to these ports.
