cherylandtk Posted May 3, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 3, 2008 While the above site is well-used by many; I prefer tripinsurancestore.com. They sell only pre-selected policies (all of which are sold by insuremytrip.com as well) but I feel they do a much better job of trying to personalize the correct policy to the customer. On both sites you can just pick one, if you really know what you want, but if you need some hand-holding or are not sure what to buy, I far prefer tripinsurancestore.com Questions everyone should ask and have answered before they choose a policy: Would I cancel my cruise due to illness or death of a non-cruising family member? Do I or my travelling party (and possibly folks back home) have any conditions considerered pre-existing, and do those conditions need to be covered? What is considered my full non-refundable trip cost? Do I want primary or secondary medical coverage? What is the travel delay in hours before that coverage kicks in? Which airline's flights can be covered and which cannot? What cancellation reasons are covered by this policy? There are many other situations and questions to be answered, but those apply to almost everyone.
