Ships phone and Mobal at Sea ???

Does anyone know what the cost per minute is to use the ships phone to call the US when in UK? Also does the Mobal phone work when you are at sea?

The ships phone is like $6 or $7 a minute to use or could be even more than that.

 

Go to www.cellularatsea.com to see if your cell phone carrier is listed and you may be able to use your cell phone. The service is not the best as it is through satellite, but if you ABSOLUTELY MUST use a telephone during your cruise it will do.

 

Don't forget that the ship also has internet which is pretty economical compared to the phones.

I have US CELLULAR and unfortunately they are not listed. It is a hugely important job issue so even at $7 I would have to make the call but I am looking for a cheaper alternative ofcourse : ) Thanks
