Callandre Posted May 4, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 4, 2008 If you've never seen this Ice Act...by all means, DO!! I know "German Wheel" sort of makes you wonder...but trust me, it is cool. We saw it on the Voyager of the Seas years ago, it's a very different sort of Ice Show than those old Ice Capades!!

They are hysterical. If they were the only entertainers for the whole week, I would still go each night. :D MARIO & DANIEL COMEDY DUO PS, I saw them on the Empress of the Seas in November. ;)

Alexis Posted May 4, 2008 #7 Share Posted May 4, 2008 You have to send it to web_reservations@rccl.com In between the word web and the word reservations, you must put a _ (an "underscore") It does not show up in the underlined address and will not work without it. ;) Give them your ships name, sailing date and reservation number and they will get back to you in about a week. I usually do it 6-8 weeks before our cruises.

keggy Posted May 8, 2008 #15 Share Posted May 8, 2008 We had the German Wheel guy in December on the Mariner and he was interesting - it was a nice addition to the ice show. We also really enjoyed Drew Devine but we never sailed with Becky so - I can't speak to the comparison!
DonnaK Posted May 8, 2008 #16 Share Posted May 8, 2008 So much is said about Capt Johnny that I think Captain Per Kristoffersen often gets overshadowed and underappreciated. We've sailed with both Captains and just loved Captain Per. He is very visible in a subtle and humble way. We met him several times walking about the ship, chatting with the cruisers. He spoke directly to the children, asking them about their cruise experience and patiently answering their questions. He seemed genuinely interested in how we were enjoying our cruise, what we did in port, etc. He has a different style and demeanor than Captain Johnny, but he is just as likable! We had Becky and then Dennis Sciortino, so I can't comment on Drew Devine, but again, as much as we loved Becky, we found Dennis to be equally as dynamic and fun, in a more understated way. I'm sure you'll enjoy sailing with Drew too!
BroadwayGirl Posted May 8, 2008 #17 Share Posted May 8, 2008 I'm on the June 22nd sailing as well with family. Thanks for posting the entertainment list. I'm very very interested to hear Mosaic. An acquaintance of mine used to sing with them a few years back! I've never heard them live, but if my friends vocal chops are any indication of what they can do....we're in for a treat! cmsjab Posted May 8, 2008 #18 Share Posted May 8, 2008 We have heard Mosaic twice - their very first cruise on the Radiance, 2005 and then again on Explorer in 2006. They are still one of our favorite acts. Enjoy!
