Ocean - Med Cruise - Costs??

I have now booked my cruise for next year. Myself, hubby and two children (age 10 & 12). I have absolutely no idea how much spending money to take with me?? We will be going on a few excursions i'm sure but I don't want to be way out on my guess of how much I will need..... any pointers would be really appreciated.

Assuming you mean for going ashore and buying food/ drink and a few gifts. Well, for the latter you can use a CC and the rest £20/30 per day in euros for each port. 6 Ports £120/£180. You may need more if you intend to pay for taxis or a lot of entrances to water parks zoos etc. If you go on trips with P&O all the time probably less as you pay for these on board with a CC.

 

Remember you can cash a cheque on the ship or use

ATM's

in the ports.

 

 

We usually take about £150 in euros and bring some back.

with two children don't for get every place you go you will be ripped off for soft drink's and ice's for the children and it all mount's up.

We are going for two weeks around the med..... a few people have mentioned the cost of soft drinks for the children are going to be high and clearly they don't offer any drinks packages as some other cruise lines seem to. Oh well.... will have to hope for the best (and save like mad).
