jozie Posted May 9, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 9, 2008 I have been learning and taking notes from everyone regarding itineraries in Bermuda. What a tremendous help. Without having a map in front of me it is hard to picture, but my ship is docking in King's Wharf. Is that the Navy Dockyard I read about? Thanks! And, to add to the confusion, this area is also frequently referred to as West End. If you need a good map of Bermuda, someone posted this recently and said their "Book of Maps" (scroll to bottom of page for it) was the best they had ever seen http://www.bermudayp.com/onlinestore.html

iheartbda Posted May 10, 2008 #5 Share Posted May 10, 2008 WOW! Love the map, will print it out and take it with me. Thanks again. There is also a map available put out by the Department of Tourism that is available at various informations centers around Bermuda. It has the East End on one side and the West End on the other, blowups of various places. It shows bus routes and has categories for beaches, landmarks, roads sightseeing, etc. with a legend to find the places. It also has misc. info about taxi rates, bus fares, scooters, and carriage rides. Unfolded it's about 14"x20" and folded, 3 1/2"x5". A wealth of info in a small package.:) Here's a small portion of it.
