sailor moon Posted April 4, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 4, 2004 After this next cruise we will be Platinum members. We have already booked our next 3 cruises. Do we need to call C&A to let them know of our changed status or will they know it automatically? The next cruise would be September. FrankiRN Posted April 4, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 4, 2004 they will know, it will show up on your seapass card when you board. However, remember that as a platinum member you get a discount on a balcony or higher cabin, plus your coupon amount may be higher. You may want to see your TA and have that applied. Shouldn't be a problem. glgolfer Posted April 4, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 4, 2004 It's still a good idea to contact C&A to verify your change in status. They're as capable of making mistakes and missing things as the rest of us. They have always been very helpful when I have called. gigivic Posted April 5, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 5, 2004 I would call c&A because I am the one that has cruised RCCL before and they have my husband listed as a previous crusier. This will be his first time for RCCL in two weeks. FrankiRN Posted April 6, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 6, 2004 Actually gigivic, they do this as a courtesy sometimes. We have friends that cruised with us, the wife had cruised with RCCL before, her husband hadn't and they gave him credit along with her for her previous cruise. When we questioned the loyalty ambassador he said that this was done as a courtesy because since they were married they should have the same perks, IE both go to the repeater party. que sarah sarah Posted April 6, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 6, 2004 Here I go again "On the Soap Box" .Do these discounts on balcony cabins apply to ALL C&A members or just US citizens ???. We are Diamond C&A members from the UK and we are lucky to just get our discount coupons in the cabin .Only by reading on the boards did we know that a cruise of 12 nights or longer gets you 2 C&A points and a suite on a 12 night cruise gets you 3 C&A points . I really think RCL should realise that poeple other than those from the US cruise their ships. to Brilliance of the Seas Greek Isles etc to Brilliance of the Seas Venice etc Sovereign 96,Grandeur 97, Grandeur 98 twice, Enchantment 99 twice, Voyager 00 twice, Explorer 01 twice, Millennium 01, Explorer 02 twice, Explorer 03,Brilliance 03, Navigator 03 twice, Brilliance 03, Brilliance 5/04, Brilliance 10/04, A dog is not just for Christmas, it's for life
