Fort Lauderdale to Miami Cruise Port

Air fare from the Northeast to Miami seems is getting crazy. Looks like I can save a few hundred dollars (for 4 people) by flying into FL. Any thoughts on cost and supplier of transportation from airport to Miami cruise port? Also good hotel by port?

Transportation for 4 people from the Fort Lauderdale airport to the Port of Miami is a no-brainer. GOShuttle offers a towncar service for $64 (a regular taxi is $70-$80). No resrvations, prepayment required, just show up and go.

When you arrive at the airport, collect your luggage and go outside the baggage claim area, lower level, curbside, contact one of the starters (customer services reps.) wearing a white shirt with "GO AIRPORT SHUTTLE" in green on the back of the shirt and an emblem on the sleeve and over the breast pocket. Let the starter know what service you are interested in and he/she will assist you.

We used the Go Shuttle this past Monday. Worked out perfect. We paid $18 per person + tip. Wonderful and fast service. We were at the Port of Miami within 30-45 minutes.

I know that the Go Shuttle is the cheapest way to go from FLL Airport to the Miami Port but what can you take back from the port to the airport that is not over $100?
