beckyjohns Posted May 12, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 12, 2008 Has anyone used a shuttle or limo service from Ft Lauderdale airport to the Port of Miami that provided carseats? We're thinking about flying to FLL because it's so much cheaper for us. We'll have our twin boys who will be 20 months old. I'd rather not have to drag the carseats with us JUST for the ride to the port. I'd like to find a car service that will provide the carseats for us. Anyone done this? crusinmama06 Posted May 12, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 12, 2008 I have never flown into FLL with children. I can tell you that Miami private towncars are really outrageously priced in comparison with, say, Orlando. I contacted a towncar service before our Miami cruise and they wanted $200 each way for the 8 mile trip from the aiport to port.  I found one for you. This shuttle includes car seats at no additional charge. http://www.miamibeach411.com/transportation/fort-lauderdale-airport-transportation.htm The other shuttle services said "car seats are the responsibility of the traveler" I haven't used this service. Maybe you can take their name to the "Eastern Departures" board and get a personal tesimonial.
