bulldog82 Posted May 13, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2008 I will be on the Conquest out of Galveston. I believe ship time is based on local time of the home port -- thus we should be on Central daylight time. Moby Dick just emailed me indicating that local time would be one hour ahead of ship time. However, I thought Georgetown's time was the same as Galveston's. I'm confused. Can any recent Conquest passengers help me out on whether ship and local time were the same in Grand Caymen? Thanks. bookbabe Posted May 13, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2008 I'm confused. Can any recent Conquest passengers help me out on whether ship and local time were the same in Grand Caymen? It depends on the time of year. Cayman doesn't do daylight savings time...they stay on Eastern Standard Time all year.
bulldog82 Posted May 13, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted May 13, 2008 Yes, good clarification -- they are same time during Central daylight time only. We will be sailing on May 18. Thanks.
