Western Med on Voyaguer late November

Last year our family took an Eastern Med cruise over Thanksgiving week aboard RCCI Splendour of the Seas. It was a lovely trip.

 

This year, I am looking at a couple of Western Med cruises for the same time period. One is Voyageur of the Seas (it is a 7day RT from Barcelona).

 

Is the Voyageur too big of a ship for the Med? We cruise for the ports -- not the ship amenities. Will it be a hassle getting on and off the ship at ports. Will the ports be more crowded with the big ship? (I know November is not the height of the season; but being the only ship in port and being a smallish ship at that, was great -- nothing too busy)
