I leave in 2 days-please help me!

I leave in 2 days for the Carnival Triumph. I will be in St. Thomas on Tuesday October 12th. We originally planned to go to St. John, but have now decided just to stay on St. Thomas.

My questions are...

1. Is there shopping close (walking distance) to where we will dock?

2. We want to go to Magen's Bay-will it be easy to find a taxi from where we dock and will it be easy to find one at the beach for the ride home?

Yes there is shopping basically as soon as you walk off the ship in Havensight.

 

Yes it will be very easy to find a taxi to take you to Magens Bay and to bring you back from Magens Bay... taxis congregate at a taxi stand area at both the dock and Magens Bay.
