"Just got back from GBI May 10-24... had a chance to experience the Sand Dollar with Capt. Tony and Bernard! What a wonderful time! (I wanted to go out over and over again!!) We left Port Lucaya, went out snorkeling, saw tons of fish, then went to dive for conch, sand biscuits, etc. Capt. Tony found a beautiful "Queen Conch". After the snorkeling, we ended the day sailing & looking for Tonys friend sea turtle... NO luck But, it was fun & relaxing looking at the beautiful waters of the Bahamas! You should really experience his excursion! Very professional, very clean boat. Absolute wonderful time. You can find Sea Biscuit / Sand Dollar in the far back corner of the Port Lucaya Marketplace parking lot, next to Millie's Rent a Car.

As posted above, you can reach Tony @ 242-646-1051, or anthonyconyers@hotmail.com. No website that I know of."

Hope this helps - have a look at the newsgroup for lots of information.

I agree with ex-freeporter, we spent the day with Capt Tony in August and had a wonderful time. We ended up there smack between hurricane Faye and Gustav but Capt Tony still managed to dodge the clouds and find the sunny spots. Our day with Capt Tony ended up being the highlight of our 7 day cruise! I cant wait to go back!!!

Capt Tony's web site is http://www.sanddollarcruise.com

Wow you lucky dog! DH and I went out with Capt Tony and all our Cruise Critic friends and had a wonderful day! DH has been talking about it ever since. I think he'd like to live on the Sand Dollar! But who can blame him! Those were some nice accommodations! :D

The fact that it was just you and your DH...wow, what a wonderful day you must have had! And so nice that Capt Tony didn't cancel.

I can second Bart and Geri's recommendation for the Sand Dollar. Hands down, it was the BEST snorkeling cruise I have ever been on. I have snorkled in many places, but have never seen so many fish in my life. Also, we were lucky enough to see (6) dolphins swim right next to us when we were snorkeling. Tony and his crew worked very hard to make our day special. The food and drinks were yummy (try the Fire in De Hole rum)!!
