Beaches and clear water

Question....

 

Are there any beaches in Cozumel where the water is clear all the way up to the beach (so that you can see your feet).

 

I've mainly cruised the Eastern Carribean and Bermuda and the water is beautiful.

 

We love going to the beach and we were wondering about the water. I've seen pictures and I know the water far out if very blue but was wondering about the water close to the beach.

 

Maybe the Western Carribean is different that the Eastern.

I've never seen water that was clearer than in Cozumel. I remember one public beach close to the pier--I think you head left. But, IMHO I would head out of town a little if you want the beach.

It will really depend on the weather. If there is a North wind, it will likely stir up the water and no beach on the West side will have clear water. It can change daily, but the North wind is more likely in the winter.

We were in Cozumel in March and the water at Nachi was incredibly blue and perfectly clear.

We just went to Cozumel on the Freedom of the Seas and I think Mexico had the best water. We went to Chankanaab park and it was really nice there. They have alot of different stuff to do.
