Monarch Noise - Deck 7 - Forward???

Can anybody offer any comments if there are any noise issues for forward deck 7 cabins? What is on Deck 8 where the large white area on the deck plan at the bow? Is it the kitchen by any chance?

I was very recently on deck 6, very forward, and there were definitely some noises as the ship entered/left port. Otherwise, nothing too bad.

Deck 7 cabins have windows that are on the outdoor promenade. People CAN look into your window from there.

 

The deck 8 space is senior crew cabins.

it was nice to be able to walk out on the deck anytime we wanted it was so close. On our cruise we didn't have a lot of people walking around the forward area. Didn't notice any noise that lastest very long.

Does the noise from the party some people decided to throw on the promenade deck outside our room at 3am count? We were in 7504.

We'll be on the May 30 sailing of the Monarch in an OV forward cabin on deck 7. I'd be happy to comment on the cabin once we return!
