Better Snorkling in Eastern or Western Caribbean ?

Hi All,

 

I am booking a Carnival cruise around April and was wondering which intinary would provide a better snorkling and/or snuba adventure. Eastern ports would be Nassau, St. Thomas, St, Maarten. Western ports would be Cozumel, Belize, Rotan, Grand Caymans. Any suggestions ? Any other thoughts of which itinary would be a better expereience overall ?

I would vote for Western. Cayman Islands were fabulous last time we were there.
