Can anyboby recommend a reliable private transfer (taxi) company to use to transfer from from Rome Fiumincino Airport to Civitavecchia and return.

We took a cab from Rome to FCO. I don't know who you're sailing with, but you can also get ship's transfers (they're not as expensive as you think). There are also quite a few good ones that will give you live pricing, just type in "transportation from Civitavecchia" (yahoo) and you'll get a lot of them! To get more specific answers, try the ports board. :)
