tinkandpan Posted May 21, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2008 We are currently booked to take the RCL shuttle from the airport to cape canaveral. Are they regular minibusses with seatbelts where I can use a carseat or are they similar to what Disney uses which are regular busses with no seatbelts for carseats? Thanks
crusinmama06 Posted May 21, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2008 They use full sized buses. So my next question is, can you cancel it? The reason I am asking is that when you factor in the pp cost of the cruise transfers, you can usually hire a private towncar service for less. For example, when we sail out of Port Canaveral, we fly into Orlando. The cruise transfer (Disney) is $70 pp. For our fam of 4, that's $280 For $180-$200 round trip, I can have a private driver waiting for us in the baggage claim area of MCO. It's a more relaxing way to start the vacation.

Go to this thread http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=436720 and search for shuttle or car rental info - you can get a MUCH better deal than using RC transportation. If you can't get the search to work - just go back a few pages. You will find posts with wonderful recaps of all necessary information. We are a family group of 9 - and chose to use the Cocoa Beach shuttle rather than the cruise transport.
