GatorWop Posted April 6, 2004 #30 Share Posted April 6, 2004 Azure of the Seas Emerald of the Seas Future of the Seas I know someone mentioned Azure already, these names would be nice because they were the names of the old Admiral Cruise Ships that Royal Caribbean once owned. Also Future Seas was the original name of the Nordic Empress when it was supposed to be part of Admiral Cruises. All are nice names. Future would be nice but looking down the road the future will turn into the past. -Rick Norwegian Sea 8/94 Ecstasy 8/96 Nordic Empress 6/97 Imagination 8/98 Carnival Destiny 8/00 Carnival Triumph 7/01 Voyager of the Seas 3/04 Navigator of the Seas 08/07/2004.... Hucc Posted April 6, 2004 #33 Share Posted April 6, 2004 the naming contest is not a bad idea; NCL did that a few years okay with the Norwegian Sun (my submission was the Norwegian Jewel -- I did not win, but now I see that maybe it was more of a Royal Caribbean name ) anyhoo, I won't put down my idea here, just in case there is a contest *** Upcoming Cruises Voyager of the Seas in August 2004 Diamond Princess in February 2005

Barva Posted April 7, 2004 #39 Share Posted April 7, 2004 When Ford came out with the Ford Excursion, the biggest passenger vehicle at the time, my dh (a Ford Senior Master Tech at the time) referred to it as the Ford Extrusion.
