Next cruise credits

I am hoping someone can help us with booking a future cruise.

We are sailing on X in the spring, 2009 and would like to consider a b2b for the fall, 2009 or spring 2010 to Aus/NZ & repo to Hawaii. Can you tell us what OBC we would get for booking onboard? Would there be a credit for each lag of the b2b? Is there also a reduced deposit? Any perks for Captain's Club?

This would be the trip of a lifetime and we want to do it right by maximizing the credits, flights etc.

Thanks,

Dot

Total Cruise-Only......... Fare Onboard Credit

$0001 - 2499 ..............$50 per stateroom

$2500 - 3999.............. $100 per stateroom

$4000 - 5999.............. $150 per stateroom

$6000 - 7499.............. $200 per stateroom

$7500 +..................... $300 per stateroom

Yes. Reduced deposit if you book Celebrity Passages. $100 per guest. Select your cruise at a later date and pay remainder of deposit then. Book a particular cruise and the normal deposit is required. Captain's Club one category upgrade would apply. Only for inside to inside or oceanview to oceanview.

Of course by booking Celebrity Passages you have to wait until you book a particular cruise before choosing a cabin.

Several things to be aware of in planning future cruises. If you wait until you are on the 2009 cruise to book the b2b cruise, you will pay the cruise fare that is in effect at the time you book. If the cruise you want has opened for reservations and you book now, or as soon as it opens, you know that the fare and fuel supplement are locked in. You also get the cabin you want. When you take the 2009 cruise you can then check prices/ fuel supplements and compare them to what you have already booked and take into account the OBC. If things are equal, book while on board and when you get home cancel the first booking. You could even transfer the cabin you originally booked to the the onboard booking number and be in a win/win spot.:D Or if prices and fuel supplements have gone up more than the OBC, don't book while on board. On down side, you do have to shell out the refundable deposits for the b2b when you book them, but you do know that you have the same cabin for both cruises.
