AC Penthouse on the Pearl

I have read about the wind in the AC penthouse but we were just offered an upsell on our Alaskan Pearl cruise and I am trying to make a quick decision..

 

I know the weather vaies but appreciate any opinions..

We had an AC (9500) on the Pearl when we cruised the Caribbean last year and it was wonderful. We sat on the balcony reading, sunning, sleeping, etc. and were not bothered by wind.

 

Alaska will be different, weather-wise. If you have a mid-summer cruise, you'll probably spend a lot of time on that balcony. And, even if the weather isn't perfect, spending time on that balcony when you are close enough to the glaciers that you can touch them ... well, let's just say I wouldn't hesitate to book that AC.

My favorite balcony is fwd. I love seeing where I am going. If it's windy, just sit down and you won't feel the wind;)
