caroline, i have a couple of friends sailing on the cp in about 2 weeks...they've promised me that they will take lots of ship pics and give me a straightforward review so i can post it here. i totally trust their opinions so, when they get bakc i'll get it on here...on the group thread, anyway....

 

I went last July. While I am not going on this group cruise you might find my website informative. It has the menus, reviews, excursions, pictures, etc. If anyone is interested just click on the link in my signature.

I'd go in a heartbeat. The ship was beautiful, the service was great, food was awesome. Oh and the best part. I wouldn't be the craziest one on the ship. Hell I might even introduce myself if I was to go. Unforunately it falls during school time. We can only cruise from late June til end of August. Someday. :)

Great website Bill! Really excited to be going on this ship. I've been checking her out since she 1st arrived. Even watched the wedding & Captain Stubing & Doc via the website. So with those guys onboard when she 1st got here, that had to make this an official LOVE BOAT ship! LOL Well we've got less than a year to wait, so who else has booked & going with us? Great website!!! Now I really can't wait to see this ship! We cruise Princess a lot but haven't been on the Caribbean P yet... I wish you could go but I grew up in PA and Sept. is bad timing for you school-wise, well anywhere school-wise I guess...

We'll just have to go back again in 2006 when you can go!!!! The "official" Privateer photographer/historian has yet to be named and your website puts you in hot contention... you've just been nominated so now you have to go..

Sorry it's been awhile since I posted here, been very busy at work and trying to get ready for the Jewel cruise this month. Between the two hasn't left much time for anything else.

Hey we only have a little over 10 months till cruise time, it will be here before you know it.

Yea Dana that is Marilyn's favorite shirt, when ever we cruise together she always brings it for me to model out on the pool deck for her. It has become a cruise tradation for the last few years.

Still have to keep trying to convince them to get onboard for this cruise, they don't know what they are going to be missing if they don't make it. But I still have awhile yet to get this acomplished.

They are a great couple and alot of fun to be around and I will miss them if they don't make it.

 

Not to sure if the rest of the Privateer's Crew even know that we have a thread over here or not.

Hello Everyone!

Bluegrass State of Kentucky reporting in! :D It takes me awhile to regroup after getting back from a cruise! We had a great time on the NCL Spirit! First time to the Southern Caribbean and first time on NCL! I didn't think I'd like freestlye dining but I did! We went at 7 every night and never waited longer than 15 minutes for a table for 4! At times we've waited almost that long at late seating for them to open the dining room doors! I did hear a lot of complaints from others though so I guess we just had good timing!

We got our precruise hotel set up and a wonderful all-day sail to St John while we are docked in St. Thomas.. what better thing to do on a rainy weekend than plan a cruise (that is if you are not on one, as Tikimon will shortly be)..

Do we have any new Privateers out there going with us on Sept 17? We got the precruise hotel set up at Comfort Inn for our Friday party and the lurkers still are MIA from the group page.

 

This group has a Parrothead Deck Party, Slot Pull in the Casino, Cabin Crawl and Day Trip by Catamaran to St John planned... it's gonna be a fun group -- we'd love for you to join us:)
