jleq Posted October 9, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 9, 2004 Most of the shops will sell them. Albeit in the 20oz containers (no large containers) for $1 or so. That's in the airport itself.
serene56 Posted October 9, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 9, 2004 If you tell us what airport and what port you are going to maybe someone can direct you to a store that has them. But I am sure that airports do have stores that will sell water. On past cruises I have asked the cab driver to stop at a store to pick us up casesof soda. serene56 Posted October 9, 2004 #5 Share Posted October 9, 2004 coolone: here is a map of the terminal in the airport. I dont know which terminal you will be at. so check and see which stores are near where you get off your plane. With a map like this at least you wont waste time looking for the store. Your luggage will probably take 20-1/2 hour getting to the claim area anyways. http://www.gofox.com/flights/airportmaps.php?code=MIA Hopefully you will be at either D or F whichhas a Sundries place. When is your cruise? You can cancel the cruiselines shuttle and take a cab for cheaper....and faster.
mnsawyer Posted October 10, 2004 #6 Share Posted October 10, 2004 I wanted to take water on board but many posters said the water on board was fine. I just took a 24 oz bottle with me and filled it on the Lido deck. In terms of soda, I'd buy some pepsi for next time. Also, no caffeine free, sugar free soda either. Maybe Sprite but not sure?? I assume you are going flying down the day of your cruise but if not, there is a Walgreen's in downtown Miami that will have everything you need.
