Travelers Cheques in the Casino???

I did not bring cash on the flight and then on the cruise, so I was thinking of getting Traveler's Cheques for use only in the casino (will use a CC for all other purchases). Will the casino (Table games like Blackjack) accept these as regular money, or will they charge for transferring it to cash and then to chips??

 

I do not want to use the onboard account because they charge a 3% fee to get chiips for the table games(Already playing a game with house advantage...don't want them taking more right from the start)

Just go to the cashiers cage in the casino and they will cash your travelers checks and not charge you to do so. We did that on the Diamond.
