Has anyone been? Do they charge for entrance? Has anyone done snorkeling or diving there? How much does it cost?

 

I am looking for any reviews and info regarding this beach. Thanks!!

There is no real snorkeling from the beach, but you could snorkel from the boat while your husband dives. Not sure about the cost for the snorkel, but it's probably around 30 -35 dollars. :D

This is absolutely our favorite beach stop in Cozumel. If you're looking for something a little quieter, this is the stop. The last time we were there (it's been a couple of years), there was a beach bar and restaurant. Hope to make it back there in November.

We did it a couple of years back, also. At that time it was a $20 taxi ride one-way. There were plenty of lounge chairs, palapas, good food and cold drinks. You don't even have to get up. The waiter will bring it to you. There was a nice shaded area with hammocks. The water has alot of shells and a few rocks so you need to wear water shoes. The boat trip out to the reef was $35 and we had only 8 people on the trip. There were 7 or 8 ships in port that day, but Palncar didn't get many people until after 10:00 and most of them left by 2:00. BTW, they do make a decent shrimp fajita.
