Soccerfan Posted May 30, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 30, 2008 Hi, Tried searching but could not locate. Does anyone know how much it will cost our group of 4 to get from FLL airport to the Holiday Inn in Downtown Miami? Thanks
Beachgirl6479 Posted May 30, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 30, 2008 On my last cruise, we sailed into FLL and used the Go airport shuttle to get to Miami. I think it was $18 pp, but they offer different services including private cars. You can make your reservation online. http://www.floridalimo.com/
Bequia Posted May 30, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 30, 2008 Private towncar from GOShuttle at FLL runs around $64 for up to 4 pax. Taxicab is close to $80 for same ride.
huxlemo Posted May 31, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 31, 2008 I would definitely go with the Go Shuttle. We used them a few weeks ago and I highly recommend them.

Bequia Posted June 3, 2008 #6 Share Posted June 3, 2008 What I like best about GOShuttle is that all you have to do is show up at FLL and go. GOShuttle requires no advance reservations, no deposit, no prepayment, no having to search for your "hired" vehicle. When you arrive at the airport, collect your luggage and go outside the baggage claim area, lower level, curbside, contact one of the starters (customer services reps.) wearing a white shirt with "GO AIRPORT SHUTTLE" in green on the back of the shirt and an emblem on the sleeve and over the breast pocket. Let the starter know what service you are interested in and he/she will assist you. It just doesn't get any easier then that. ;) http://www.floridalimo.com/

And Bequia is right - you don't need a reservation - nothing to plan - no need to worry if your flight is late - once you have your luggage, just go outside and look for the white desk with the green letters. Not only was it the most convenient - but it was the cheapest. We had 3 of us and I had priced out taxi service, limo service, anything you can think of, and the Go shuttle was the cheapest. We had a private town car with a very courteous driver for only $64 (plus a tip of course). Will definitely use them again.
