More praise for Eagle Ray Divers in Cozumel

This is a long-overdue recommendation for Antonio Castellanos and Eagle Ray divers. A group of 5 of us did a Discover Scuba Diving course with them on Aug. 20th.

 

We choose to go with Eagle Ray after reading so many positive reviews on this site...once again, our fellow cruise critic travelers steered us in the right direction! :)

 

We really had a great experience. Antonio was very friendly and helpful, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and knew what they were doing. We started in a shallow area with lots of fish and then drifted along to a little deeper water (maybe 30 ft.) and saw some neat coral formations and part of an old shipwreck.

 

After the first dive, 2 people in our group wanted to do another dive. Antonio was very accommodating and dropped off the 3 that wanted to do some shopping and other things in Cozumel at a hotel pier (where they caught a cab). He then took the rest of us (smarter individuals who knew the day would be best spent diving :) )back out to do another dive. The second dive was a wall dive and it was AWESOME! We got to see a sea turtle (very close up!) and some very large eagle rays off in the distance.

 

Thanks, Antonio! When we come back we'll go with Eagle Ray again for sure!!!
