Alaska 1st Aug on Shadow

I live in the UK and booked on the Shadow to Alaska on the 1st of August this year.

Any advise on what weather to expect and cloths to pack would be greatly appreciated.

 

Incidently, will Silversea allow a late departure from the ship on return to Vancouver on the 10th. I was under the impression this was not allowed in canadian ports.
