stipmom Posted June 7, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 7, 2008 I went on the port of vancouver website and it said it Continental participates from the airport to the port but I need it from the port to the airport.
Putterdude Posted June 7, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 7, 2008 I can see why you are confused, I would suggest that you call the Port of Vancouver on Monday on their 1-800 number and ask them, they do have people their who will help you.
dbhome Posted June 7, 2008 #3 Share Posted June 7, 2008 How does this work? If we came into port that morning, could we go with our luggage to the airport, but then leave again -- our flight is not until late that evening. I'm guessing not, since it looks like we would clear customs.
clueless2 Posted June 7, 2008 #4 Share Posted June 7, 2008 Unless something has changed in the past 3 weeks Contenintal does NOT participate (ship to airport).

The principle is that you are sort of "traveling in bond" between the ship and the airport. If you are doing some sightseeing in Vancouver you will likely need to check your luggage with CDS Baggage Service at the cruise terminal, do you sightseeing, pick up your baggage and proceed independently to the airport. As you are returning to the US you will need to be at the airport at least 2 hrs prior to you flight and you should allow 35/45 min to get to the airport by cab. You will clear US customs at the airport. Hope you enjoy your cruise and visit to Vancouver.
