The island of Hispaniola is made up of two countries, Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Haiti's only port that I know if is Labadee, which is currently closed due to the recent government problems there. I think there are ports of call in the DR, but I don't know anything about them. The port is general has not received many favorable reviews. We, however, had a great time at Bayahibe Beach at a resort called Casa Del Mar. Theron is correct that Haiti (and Labadee) have been replaced as a port indefinitely due to the civil unrest. Where are you headed next?
