bams1954 Posted June 15, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 15, 2008 for the Regatta on 02July / best way to arrive - cheapest/efficient public transport vs. cab?
Alessandro Posted June 30, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 30, 2008 I would take the direct train from the airport to the central trainstation if I didn´t speak swedish and take a taxi from there, there are local buses to Värta hamnen but they´re often very crowded. Ask how much the cabride are.
Rare LHT28 Posted June 30, 2008 #3 Share Posted June 30, 2008 For not much more than the train price you could get a private pick up direct tot he port. http://www.airportshuttle.se/showIndexPage.do Maybe even find others arriving the same time frame to share the trip
Moeve Posted July 1, 2008 #4 Share Posted July 1, 2008 I have to agree with the last poster HOWEVER when you call for the cab make sure the driver KNOWS where you want to go our driver had none and dropped us at the ferry terminal but fortunately we had seen our ship and since our luggage was all on wheels - we had no problem walking the last 800m to our ship. It is better than trying to flag one down
Alessandro Posted July 2, 2008 #7 Share Posted July 2, 2008 Well, depends, some taxicompanies don´t book in advance now, they´re in demand right.
