March 2, 2009 Last Sailing of the Galaxy

We just booked with two friends from Montreal. Sad to read this will be her last sailing for Celebrity. I for one prefer smaller ships and I assume she is leaving as Celebrity brings on the newer larger Solstice class of ships. Too bad. We were just on the Century in Europe and had a great time. We will be signing up for the connections party and will look forward to meeting others in March.

bobnjeff,

We booked the Galaxy's last sailing too, while we were on the same exact, fantastic itinerary on Galaxy in March. It is fitting we will be on this cruise as we have been on several firsts, lasts, and onlys with the Galaxy during our eight times on her. It will be nice to be on the last sailing although debarkation day will be a sad one for us as we have had many good times on the Galaxy including an Eastern Mediterranean, a transatlantic, and 5 Caribbean cruises.
