  1. I watched both times on my iPad.
  2. We were just on the November 8th Ascent sailing. When we booked, all categories were sold out except for high-end suites, oceanview cabins, and inside cabins. We wanted Aqua Class but were only able to get a veranda guarantee through a travel agent. Soon all categories were sold out, but occasionally an inside, oceanview, or high-end suite became available. Four weeks before the cruise, still no cabin assignment. Finally, we were notified we were eligible for move up, so we submitted a move-up request for Aqua Class. Shortly after that, we got a good Aqua Class assignment when our move up was accepted. I believe the move-ups are usually assigned before the guarantees.

I found out from someone else that to get the Thank you at the end of the current PUP event, you have to make sure to click the checkbox at the bottom of the registration form where it indicates the number of points you will get. I registered again and clicked the checkbox and then watched the video again (just let it play). This time I got the Thank You that flashed very quickly in the video screen on the left. I didn't get the screenshot fast enough, so you will only see a blank video screen below.
  4. Good! That will work for them. We do it all the time for shore excursions that go on sale. Cancel, then rebook.
  5. You must be reading my mind. I was thinking about their Captain's Club discount which is 10% as Select; however, they are 3 points shy and will become Elite in mid-December when they get the PUP points for the recent Power-Up event. So they will be up to 15% discount. This couple has a wine club and really know their wine The Classic package or the Elite happy hour benefit won't suffice for them, and especially if they are watching us drinking the Premium wine. lol. I will be passing on this information to them. Thank you!
  6. Do you know if it is refundable pre-cruise? In other words, if they pay the $13.99 per person per day but it drops in price during another sale, can they cancel the update and rebook with the lower price. We are Zenith and thankfully get the Premium drink package as a benefit, so we don't have to worry about the price. I know our friends, and the Classic package won't cut it with them. They always upgrade to Premium.
  7. Our friends said their Europe cruise in May has a current discount of $13.99 per person per day to upgrade from the Classic drink package to the Premium. Is that a good price? I recall they paid $8.99 pp pd earlier this year for the upgrade for our January cruise. But maybe there has been an increase since then in the cost of the Premium package?
  8. We just returned from the Ascent earlier this week. Prices were a la carte. I had trout, and I think it was $19, not including the Captain's Club discount.
  9. Same happened to me. After watching the video, it just returned me to the sign-in screen again. If there was a brief thanks for watching the video, I missed it. I asked my good friend who also watched it, and she said it also just ended with the sign-in screen. I am hoping especially that she gets the 5 Captain's Club points because that will make her and her husband Elite in time for our January cruise. She only needs 3 points to make Elite, and this will give her 5 points.
  10. Yay! Passed this onto our friends who will be cruising with us in January. They are only 3 points shy of Elite, so completing this will make them Elite for our January cruise.
  11. I agree with the other Zenith members. Having the Zenith recognition event/party postponed will be fine. Likely, they prefer not to host it on the 3-day cruise either. We thought about postponing ours from January to April to have it on a transatlantic cruise, but my husband wanted it the next leg of the B2B right when we qualified. Good thing we had it then because this was January 2020 and we were unable to go on the April 2020 transatlantic because of the pandemic and for 18 months after that.

  13. Yes. What you will need to do though is visit the Captain's Club/Concierge during the first cruise to let her/him know. The concierge will verify it and make sure you get your benefits on the 2nd leg of the B2B. We experienced this same situation except that in our case the first leg of the B2B made us Zenith, so we became Zenith on the 2nd leg and all our new benefits kicked in and they even held our Zenith party to recognize us.
  14. Nafplio, Hydra, Volos, and Heraklion are on the Infinity 2025 itineraries. Also, Nafplio and Heraklion are on the Infinity February/March 2026 itineraries. But I do not see these ports for new 2026 Ascent or Infinity itineraries, except for Hydra. Ascent does have Chania (Souda) Crete on the new 2026 itineraries, and Infinity has Hydra.
  15. Does the email say when you will be able to book? The deployment schedule I saw said week of November 5th. We want to book one of the Best of Greece itineraries that has 3 new ports for us and a few more good repeat ports from which we can go to different archaeology sites from the ones we visited on previous cruises.
  16. The new Med 2026 cruises are not supposed to be available for booking to those of us in the US until the week of November 5th. Is it the same for those of you in the UK too?
  17. We are very interested in Best of Greece on Infinity as we really enjoy archaeology sites. Although we have done a lot of Greece and also Ephesus, the Macedonia and Cyprus ports would be new to us, and some of the repeats would allow us to visit different archaeology sites, like Lindos from Rhodes and Greek sites from Ephesus. We were interested in the 2025 itineraries but already had plans for 2025, so we were happy to see very similar itineraries.
  18. Celebrity Ascent and Celebrity Equinox were on the list of the 19 cleanest cruise ships.
  19. Cards for Zenith members with 3000+ points are still black. If the member is Zenith because of the Royal Caribbean Pinnacle match, then the card will be the color of the class (standard, Concierge, Aqua, Suite). In both cases, the card will also say Zenith.
  20. In cooler (cold) climates like New England/Canada in fall, do you think it would still be comfortable for dinner? Or too chilly?
  21. Is the Porch on Reflection and Silhouette an indoor restaurant, outdoor restaurant or both? Do we need reservations for dinner? Can we wait to reserve until we are onboard, or is it best to reserve/pay in advance? Any comments on food? We booked New England/Canada on Silhouette for fall, and the evenings likely will be cool/cold so we would want to dine indoors if possible and be comfortable temperature-wise while dining. If outdoor only, do they have outdoor heaters?
  22. We just booked Silhouette September 2026 New England-Canada cruise. We looked at what prices are for same time in 2025 and decided to book now.
  23. Sent this to our friends who will be 3 points short of Elite after getting the points from the current PUP and just in case somehow one of them doesn't get all the PUP points and just misses Elite status once the other qualifies.
  24. How did your cabin assignment work out? Did you get what you needed? When did you get your assignment? We have a guarantee and no assignment yet for our cruise in November.
  25. The Zenith card does not usually open the door to go to the Retreat sundeck, only the door to the lounge. On one sailing, the door opened up each time we passed by it, but on other sailings it did not work to open the door to go up the stairs to the sundeck. Don't worry, on the one sailing where the door opened, we did not use the sundeck as we were not in a suite and knew it was not one of our benefits.
