  2. Thanks, Jim! I used Internet Explorer and when that didn't work yesterday, I used Chrome today. Still no luck. I will try rebooting as I have not tried that nor have I tried the app which I will also try. Thanks for the suggestions!
  3. For the past two days, everytime I try to do the on line check in I get the following message: We've got your info. However, we're unable to bring up your account right now, so please try again later. Is anyone else having the same issue or is it just my computer?
  4. We had a family retreat cabana on the Z in October and it was in perfect shape. No complaints whatsoever! Enjoy!
  5. I haven't been on Princess, but I just returned from the Zuiderdam. It was a wonderful cruise. I know food is subjective, but the food and service in the dining room was excellent. The only meal I had that I didn't care for was in the Pinnnacle Grill. Perhaps it was an off night because we have always had excellent food in this venue in the past on other ships. We travel to relax since my husband works very hard. A quiet ship with a private cabana on top of the ship is heaven to us.
  6. I brought straws for my insulated cup but didn’t think about using it with the aluminum can! Yes, a straw would help!
  7. On the Zuiderdam last week, they were in the process of switching over to the aluminum cans. In the cabana, we had plastic for the first 5 days, and the aluminum the last 5 days. The water tasted the same to me, but I did not like drinking out of the wide-mouth aluminum bottle. I felt like it would cut my lip even though i didn’t. The bottles supplied in the cabin were still the plastic ones pictured above. In the future, I will take a couple of empty plastic bottles and refill for my purse. I take reusable insulated cups to use otherwise.
  8. Reporting back on receiving pre-ordered distilled water for $2.95 on the Zuiderdam....it was waiting in our beautiful suite when we entered the cabin at 11:25! We have had a little trouble getting the air conditioning cool enough. The engineer worked on it and it is definitely better, and I hope it can maintain the cooler temp in the heat of the day.
  9. I ordered it on line for $2.95. We leave this weekend. I fully expect it to be in my cabin. I will report after we arrive.
  10. Oh dear! I’m so sorry to hear that. What amenities were not provided? We are in the corner Capri. Were you near that cabana? Was Capri in disrepair? I have been in cabanas on Eurodam and Nieuw Amsterdam so expectations are high since those cabanas were wonderful.
  11. I have stayed at Gallery One several times in the two bedroom suite. More than enough room for your family.

  13. Congratulations on your upsell. If you have never stayed in a Neptune, I think you will enjoy it not only for the extra space but for the Neptune Lounge, the free dry cleaning and laundry, and the concierges in the lounge. It's great to skip the lines at the main guest services desk. Bon Voyage!
  14. Does the forward elevator on the Zuiderdam take you all the way to the Retreat on deck 11 or do you have to get off the elevator at deck 10 and walk up stairs?
