how much is beer?

Just wondering what the going rate for a 18 pack or any large case of beer is at a food store; such as bud light or something.

Probably not much different than at a U.S. store. 10-13 bucks probably, depending on the store.

I don't know off hand because I only occasionally buy beer.

However there is a tax on beer (all but the local kind), so it is more expensive than in the States.

There is a local beer called Medalla Light, that is similar in taste to Bud Light. It will be the least expensive option at $16.72 for a case of 24. These are 10+ oz cans (not the usual 12 oz ). This was a few months ago I bought it last.

Right on about the 10 ounce cans. They cannot sell 12 ounce cans in PR. I guess you can't get drunk that easy with only 10 ounces...:confused:
