My partner and I (both early 40's) will be boarding the Norwegian Star on New Year's Eve leaving from San Pedro going down the Mexican Riviera (overnighting in Acapulco). Would love to share a champagne toast with others aboard!!!

Absolutely! How are ya doing?

 

Just as a heads up, I know we all had a bad taste from our first Celebrity cruise aboard Galaxy with the repositioning cruise in March. I can *gladly* report that the two week cruise I just got off of from the Mercury was 110% better!

 

Food was absolutely perfect, service was far better, entertainment was a lot better, etc.

 

Methinks service on the Galaxy might have gone down a bit as well as food quality with the repositioning aspect of our March cruise?

i think you may be right but it left a bad taste...not the celebrity i remember. but the concierge class was nice, spoiled me. got my tix today for ncl sun 12/11 and got a stern minisuite this time. really like the sun, great food and no dress up! ill let you know how it is, glad you had a nice time. :D
