I have a couple travelling with us needing to get from the port to Atlantic City NJ to Trump Palace. Can anyone give me any idea on ground transportation and give me some phone numbers?

I would think a train might be the way to get there, not sure if that would be from Penn Station or Grand Cental. Or call the Port Authority and see if there are buses going there. Or you could drive them down the good old Garden State Parkway!

Currently, the train is very complicated, so you don't want to do it that way. You'd have to take the train from NYC to Philadelphia and then Philadelphia to Atlantic City.

 

Academy Coach runs buses from the Port Authority Bus Terminal (midtown Manhattan) to Atlantic city. Cost is around $35 per person. But having done the trip many times I can't imagine doing it with a lot of luggage.

 

If it were me, I would consider getting a price quote for a limo.

 

For what it's worth, a car ride from Brooklyn to Atlantic City would take around 2:00 hours to 2:15 hours depending on traffic, etc.

I would call Harrahs or one of the other Casinos for bus info.. usually you can catch one in front of a bodega. You usually pay one fare and get coin or lunch back ...
