Ship Time & Water Taxi Time??

Are Water Taxi's And The Ships On The Same Time?

 

We Arrive In Port At 8am, What Time Is It Locally?

 

We Want To Catch The 9am Taxi To Cay Caulker, Please Help Me With The Time Difference.

Most island excursion operators are aware of ship time.

We never got off ship time for any excursion.

 

For example we had an excursion planned in Grand Cayman for 10 am ship time (which was 9 am Caymen time). They are just aware of ship time.

 

In Belize our operator knew that we had to be back to the ship by 3 pm ship time but was only 1 pm on her watch.

 

They are very aware of ships schedules.

The water taxi is NOT any part of a shore excursion...it is regular transportation there and would be on local time. You would also need to be careful to catch the correct one back so you don't miss the ship.

 

If you were using a ship's or local shore excursion operator (like Coral Breezes) they would tell you what time to be there (ship's time).
