beach or ruins or both?

We are visiting Cozumel on CCL (Glory) in July.

 

We have heard many mixed things about where to excursion.

Paradise Beach is one option (good for the kids)

Chakanaab (good for snorkeling)

Playa Sur (supposedly has ruins and an enclosed bay)

 

Can I get some feedback on what to do...

 

I know each has its benefits, but I don't know enough about any of them to make a good decision....

We just got back from the CCL Fascination. We took the Jeep and Snorkel tour. Don't waste your time. You spend 2 hours driving, the snorkeling is as a group and you have to be a very good swimmer. You are in the water for around 45 minutes straight with no place to rest. The ruin is one building where they sent smoke signals. They spent 10 minutes telling us about the ruin.
