Ronin23 Posted June 26, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 26, 2008 Hi all, I am new to this community but have a question from some more experienced here. Am about to book for the 10/25 sailing out of Athens on the Jade. The price difference between a balcony and mini is around $300 pp. Is it really worth the extra $$. As far as I can tell its just the extra bit of space and a bath. I guess its really a glorified balcony cabin, not really a suite as such. Thoughts? P.S This will be my 4th cruise with NCL so i am a convert.:)
Cruisin'cockney Posted June 26, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 26, 2008 Depends how many in your party. If 3 or more you might be glad for the extra room but IMHO a balcony should be big enough and I would rather have the $300 in my pocket to spend. I have travelled in a balcony with my DW and DD aged 17 and found that we have plenty of room (as long as you fully utilise the balcony as extra living space). Hope that helps. Ask4Jay Posted June 26, 2008 #3 Share Posted June 26, 2008 Ronin23 - That's about $600 extra for the mini. That's almost the deposit on another cruise. For us two the balcony adds so much to the accommodation that we wouldn't consider anything larger / more expensive. YMMV.
